Q: Does my insurance cover any of your services?

Well there are lots of changes happening in health care these days so the answer will depend on your indiviual insurance company, some insurances will participate in payment depending on the service.  This practice does not accept any insurance nor Medicare. In particular, if you are with Medicare you will be asked to sign a form indicating you will not seek reimbursement thru Medicare, as I am not a Medicare provider in this office. You will be directed to laboratories that will take your insurance, when available, and be provided with the appropriate billing codes for lab work through Medicare providing laboratories. For other insurance providers a receipt for medical services will be provided with coding for you to submit to your insurance provider. This can be discussed further when you call to schedule an appointment or at your appointment. Please see links tab provided to view lab and testing information and insurance coverage with lab providers.

Q: Why would I need this consultation?

After treatment by many practitioners, clients are left with significant questions about the need for changes they must make, medications, treatments suggested, and maybe concerned whether invasive proceedures are necessary. Often after diagnosis, and after procedures, few feel comfortable with knowing how to prevent future problems from occurring, especially after cancer and surgery. This practice is devoted to restoration medicine, optimizing functioning and prevention. As such it is not anti-aging so much as rebuilding the incredible engine inside us all. Bio-Identical Hormone evaluation is an integral part of this for all ages. This practice offers an individual counseling approach to many of the questions people have and support for the changes we must  make to live extraordinary lives.

To facilitate our visit please bring to your consult all of your prescription, non-prescription, vitamin and herbal products, your most recent lab results (preferably all within the last year, including pap smear and mammogram for women), family history information , as well as information regarding your medical history.  We will be going over in depth your symptoms, exercise regimen, average nutrition and water intake, stressors, recent life changes, etc.
